Syracuse police investigate BB gun shooting
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police continue to look for suspects in a BB gun shooting last weekend.
A bicyclist was hit in the eye while riding in the City of Syracuse early Saturday morning. The man showed up at St. Joseph Hospital's emergency room thinking he had been hit in the eye by a rock, but there, doctors discovered he had actually been hit by a BB. The injury happened around 3 a.m. as a car passed the man on Park Street. It caused severe damage to his eye, potentially blinding him.
