SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Good music, good brews and good times filled Clinton Square Friday night for the 14th annual Empire Brew Fest.

Organizers say about 2,000 beer lovers attended this year, sampling nearly 120 locally brewed beers.

And while the focus is on the suds, this year's event had a little bit extra for attendees.

"We've introduced a lot of barbeque to this event this year. We focused our food selections on barbeque and you can smell the flame broiled food right now and it smells terrific," event organizer Tom Tarry said.

And if you're a fan of barbeque, the American Barbeque Championship is being held Saturday in Clinton Square.
