Sunoco robbed, suspect on the run

CAMILLUS, N.Y. -- Camillus Police are investigating a robbery at a Sunoco gas station. Officers were called to the Sunoco on the corner of Hinsdale Road and Milton Avenue around 7 p.m. Sunday for a reported robbery.

Police say the suspect showed a hunting knife and demanded money and cigarettes. They say another customer walked into the store causing the suspect to run away. Police called in a helicopter to help in the search, but at this point, no arrests have been made.

The suspect is described as a man who was wearing a Halloween mask. Police say he had on a royal blue winter jacket with black lines on either side of the zipper, black soccer shorts with white lines, and black shoes.
