OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Health officials in Oswego County are urging parents to vaccinate their children before sending them back to school.
Depending on your child's age, he or she may need vaccines to enter the next grade and it's important to know the requirements before school starts.
Oswego County residents can get vaccines at the Health Department on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Fridays 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
"Coming to our clinics is very easy. It's a walk-in clinic so you don't need an appointment, you can come in with your shot records, we can tell you exactly what you or your child will need for school or general health. Our clinic is very affordable but no one is ever turned away based on ability to pay," said Angela Cimilluca of the Oswego County Health Department.
Starting September 28th, the clinics will only run on Tuesdays.
