SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a stabbing on the 1800 block of Teall Avenue in the city.

Police said a 16-year-old male was stabbed in the torso during a fight in the Shop City parking lot around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

The victim told police he was with a group of friends when they became involved in a fight with another group of males. The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
