SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse neighborhood comes together to show off residents' creativity while also helping the local community center.
The 11th annual Westcott Art Trail is going on this weekend. More than 80 artists are spread out across more than 25 locations in the neighborhood displaying their creations.
Organizers expect thousands of people to stop by, and money raised benefits the Westcott Community Center, which offers a variety of programs to serve anyone who might stop by.
Steve Susman, Former Westcott Community Center Executive Director said, “We try to be all things to all people. We have programs that professors, doctors, the professionals in the neighborhood might take advantage of. And people in the worst poverty in the neighborhood would also have programs to serve them."
The Westcott Art Trail continues from Noon through 5 p.m. Sunday.
