SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are searching for a man they say robbed a bank just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

A man in his 50s entered the Chase Bank on the 800 block of James Street and demanded money from a teller. Police say he threatened the teller with the use of a weapon, but he never actually showed one.

The man did get away with an undisclosed amount of cash and no one was injured.

Surveillance cameras captured this image of the suspect. Police say he was carrying a blue bag with a strap over his shoulder.

Anyone who may have seen him in the area around the bank or who has any information on the robbery is asked to call Syracuse Police.
