Man indicted on DWI charges
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man has been indicted on drunk driving charges after he already spent time in prison for killing his girlfriend while driving drunk.
Joseph Bertrand was found guilty of manslaughter in 2004 after he ran over Michele Lozipone with his car after an argument in 2003.
Bertrand was arrested again on June 10 in the Town of Salina. A grand jury has indicted him on charges of DWI, criminal possession of stolen property and several traffic violations.
