BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. -- The iconic Budweiser Clydesdale eight-horse hitch made an appearance in Baldwinsville Friday, where the company has been producing beer for decades.
The hitch traveled down Grove Street to Route 48 and made some deliveries to local bars. People were able to take photos of the famous horses that average about 2,000 pounds.
The Budweiser Clydesdales make hundreds of appearances nationwide each year.
"It reminds the employees of what they are doing, the pride, the quality and the production techniques of everything we are doing," Clydesdale handler Burton Westbrook said.
Anheuser-Busch employees in Baldwinsville will also take part in a Family Fun Day Saturday.
