Child porn suspect pleads guilty
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Dolgeville man accused of producing and owning child pornography pleaded guilty in Federal Court Tuesday.
Nathan Brown, 32, admitted to taking pornographic photos and video of three girls, ages eight to 11, in 2010 and 2011.
Brown said he used smart phones to take photos and video of the girls in either a trailer home in Fulton County or a motel room in Warren County. He also admitted to owning thousands of photos and videos of child pornography at his home in Dolgeville.
Brown faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years for each of the charges, along with a $750,000 fine when he is sentenced in September.
Justice Department officials called Brown's conviction a big victory for child sex crime victims.
