All bets are off after Labor Day, when the Saratoga Racetrack closes until next August. This is a good time to trade the backstretch for the back nine and get in some world-class golf when the weather is still pleasant.
Saratoga National Golf Club is known as one of the premier public courses in the country with its 18 holes and 400 acres. Teaming up with the Saratoga National, the Saratoga Hilton is offering a "Roadtrip Package" valid after September 7th through November 8th that combines a one-night stay with two rounds of golf for $319.00 per person, based on double occupancy.
The package also includes free shuttle service to the golf course, a breakfast sandwich when you get there, a golf car with GPS, a sleeve of specially-monogrammed golf balls, and a personalized cap as a memento of your trip.
For more information, go to The Hilton's restaurant Chez Sophie will soon be making way for a gastro-pub, called the Union Grille, a typical English-style pub with a culinary flair that is set to open on October 1st. It will be managed by the owners of Brindisi's, an Italian restaurant that has been a staple in town for many years.
Now here's a D'Elia's Deal you don't want to miss at Brindisi's. From September 7th through October 1st, get a two-for-one dinner when you tell them that Val sent you.
