JORDAN, N.Y. -- Sandy's wrath is being felt in Central New York as well. A large gust ripped down parts of a tree in the Village of Jordan Monday afternoon. It landed on top of a home on Hamilton Street.
No one was hurt, but the second floor sustained heavy damage.
Emergency officials want to remind people to steer clear of any downed trees or power lines during the storm.
