COLUMBUS, OH - The Syracuse Chiefs extended their winning streak to seven games with a 5-1 win over Columbus in the first of an eight-game road trip Tuesday night.
Xavier Paul hit his fourth homerun in nine games and Corey Brown hit his third in four games to spark the Chiefs' offense.
Yunesky Maya (3-4) surrendered only one run in six and two-thirds innings for the victory.
