Training Week 9: Sharon BuMann
I must be dealing with a little jet lag... I over-slept (by about two hours) and missed the Gillie Lake ride that I had prepared for the night before. I have been getting in a lot of walking, some running and a fair amount of pool swims. The continuous turning is a pain, but my comfort level in the water has improved dramatically! I have plans to do a long ride and open water swim in the morning. The predictions is for temperatures of over 100 degrees... just one more test! This weekend (Saturday) the plan is the IronGirl course with a few added miles and hills... anyone is welcome to join in. We will start at 7:30 from Oneida Shores park, and return there. Over all it will be about a 35-40 mile ride. Swimming at the end in the open water might be nice!
