Closing arguments expected in Wlasiuk trial
CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- The murder re-trial of Peter Wlasiuk is winding down. The Oxford native is accused of killing his wife, Patricia, back in 2002 and covering it up by staging a car accident in Guilford Lake.

The prosecution rested Monday and the defense is calling witnesses to the stand. On Tuesday, a private investigator hired by the defense, continued his testimony.

An accident reconstruction expert was also called upon. Both of them discussed what they felt may have been discrepancies in the original investigation.

Both sides are expected to give their closing arguments by the end of this week.
