DNA expert on the stand in Oxley Trial
Jurors in Wayne Oxley's murder trial were back in action Tuesday, after having the day off. Oxley, 40, of Ogdensburg is accused of killing his neighbor, Bernard Trickey, with a baseball bat.
One day after the murder, a baseball bat was found in Oxley's basement. Defense testimony in the trial continues this week. Taking the stand Tuesday was an SU Professor who is a DNA expert. The professor compared DNA from Oxley, Trickey, and John Shannon to the DNA found on the baseball bat.
