ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell University officials have suspended a campus fraternity after a 19-year-old student dies. Authorities suspect alcohol played a role in the death of sophomore George Desdunes last week.
He was found unresponsive at his Sigma Alpha Epsilon frat house Friday morning.
University officials say information they have about the use of alcohol indicates the fraternity likely violated the school's policies.
Police are still investigating the death.
Meanwhile, a memorial service for Desdunes is being held on campus at 5 p.m. today.
