Hundreds of fellow law enforcement officers traveled to Utica for Deputy Wyman's memorial, even those who did not know him say they are all a band of brothers and they wanted to show their support. Our Beth Jones caught up with some of those officers.

UTICA, N.Y. -- Hundreds of police officers from at least 50 different departments across the state and beyond filed inside the Utica Auditorium for the memorial service.

Members of the law enforcement community say theirs is like a brotherhood and they hope their overwhelming presence and show of support serves as a tribute to both Deputy Wyman and his family.

"We hope they do take comfort in the fact that we are out here, we are showing them support and that we're going to continue to go forward and do what we need to do and still remember Deputy Wyman and what he's done for not only law enforcement, but for our country," said Rome Deputy Police Chief Kevin Simons.

Officers say they are in awe of the strength and courage the Wyman family has displayed over the past week.
