ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A plea deal has been offered to a Liverpool woman accused of killing her newborn daughter and leaving her in a dumpster. The deal was discussed during a court appearance by Nicole DeJaynes Wednesday.

DeJaynes is facing a second degree murder charge after authorities say she suffocated her daughter after giving birth last January. Terms were not disclosed, but a new court date was set by which time the deal must be accepted or it will be withdrawn.

DeJaynes is due back in court on January 11th.
