UTICA, N.Y. -- In videotaped interrogations shown in Oneida County Court Wednesday, former Rome correction officer Donald Hughes is shown admitting to sexually abusing two girls younger than 11.

The video shows state police investigators questioning Hughes about the alleged abuse. That includes accusations he made one of them touch his genitals and tried to make her perform oral sex on him. While he at first tells police any touching was accidental, he later admitted to those acts.

Hughes faces a number of charges, including course of sexual conduct against a child.
