WASHINGTON, D. C. -- A former Fort Drum soldier will stand trial for what is known as the biggest leak of classified information in U.S. History.
An army officer has ordered a court-martial for Bradley Manning. This means that Manning will stand trial for allegedly giving more than 700,000 secret U.S. documents and classified combat video to the anti-secrecy website WikiLeaks.
Manning could face life in prison if he's convicted of the most serious of the 22 counts against him, aiding the enemy.
The trial date has not been set.
