HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Colgate men's hockey team has gone from last place in the ECAC last season to tied for third heading into this year's stretch run, and the Raiders can primarily thank their top offensive line.

Senior Austin Smith's 30 goals lead all of Division I and are nine more than the next-highest total, sophomore Chris Wagner's 26 assists put him fifth in the country, and freshman Joe Wilson has chipped in 16 points. Overall Colgate is 12th in the nation in team offense.

The Raiders have six more regular-season games remaining and are hoping to finish as one of the top four teams in the ECAC to get a first-round bye in the conference tournament. Four of those games are at Starr Rink including a pair this weekend against Yale and Brown. The Yale matchup Friday will be televised on Time Warner Cable Sports starting at 7 p.m., and the Brown game Saturday starts at the same time.
