Three people killed in Oswego County crash
Three people are dead following a car crash near the Oswego Speedway. It happened around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Albany Street and Shampine Drive. Our Brad Vivacqua has the latest details.

OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. – It was a very sad ending to a frightening crash in Oswego Tuesday night, as a motor vehicle accident claimed the lives of three people. Oswego Police said a driver and four passengers were in the car when it went off the road and struck a utility pole around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday on East Albany Street at the Shampine Drive intersection.
Three of the occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. The two survivors were taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
Police had a portion of East Albany Street closed for several hours as they investigated the crash, but it has since re-opened to traffic.
