BATH, N.Y. -- Bath Police arrested a woman who they believe was an accomplice in an internet fraud scheme. Carol Gould, 41, is accused of helping a person in Africa receive stolen merchandise. Investigators said the other person used stolen credit cards to purchase items online and the goods were then shipped to Gould's address in Bath. She allegedly took the merchandise and shipped it back to Africa.

In all, police said she received approximately 25 packages worth more than $1,000.

Gould is charged with criminal possession of stolen property, which is a felony. She is due back in court next week.
