NIAGARA FALLS, CANADA — Daredevil Nik Wallenda made history Friday as the first person to tightrope over the Niagara Falls from New York to the Canadian border.

A crowd of over a hundred thousand came out to watch the man complete the stunt.

Wallenda did say at one point during the walk, he was drained due to the strain on his body. He says the mist was thick and the biggest challenge of the walk was the wind.

Wallenda says while he's fulfilled one of his dreams, the purpose of his trip is to inspire people.

The daredevil comes from a family of daredevils spanning seven generations. He says someday he wants to walk over the Grand Canyon.
