TOWANDA, Pa. -- A YouTube video allegedly showing Pennsylvania State Police brutality has rallied a community demanding justice for the supposed victim.
Robert Leone's family says state police brutally assaulted him back in March of 2010 after he was pulled over for hitting another car. Leone was convicted of four misdemeanors after the incident, including resisting arrest and assault and is currently serving his sentence in Bradford County. Friday, a large group held a peaceful demonstration in front of the courthouse in Towanda demanding justice for Leone.
"After personally watching that video, I was absolutely appalled and heartbroken over the abuse this young man suffered. I don't think anybody ever, no matter what, should suffer that kind of abuse," said Angela Kraft, a co-organizer of the demonstration.
