CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two full days of deliberating in the Peter Wlasiuk murder trial and there is still no verdict.
The Chenango County man is accused of killing his wife in 2002 and then trying to cover it up by staging it to look like an accident in Gilford Lake.
Jurors asked to have testimony read back Monday morning from the Chenango County Undersheriff, specifically about the interview he conducted with Wlasiuk following his wife's death.
This is the third trial for Wlasiuk, who was previously convicted twice of murder: Once in 2003 and again in 2008. Both convictions were later overturned on appeal.
The jury will resume deliberations Tuesday morning.
