Ithaca Police investigate overnight robbery
ITHACA, N.Y. -- Ithaca Police are investigating an early morning robbery. Police say they were called to 806 Buffalo Street just after midnight for a reported domestic dispute involving a gun.
When they arrived in the area, police say the suspect, Michael Murray, 25, of Rochester, ran from the scene. He was taken into custody a short distance away, and investigators say he was in possession of a loaded gun.
Police say the incident was not a domestic dispute and Murray has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Further charges are pending and Murray is being held at the Tompkins County Jail.
