GEDDES, N.Y. -- Officials are investigating the cause of fire that broke out at a commercial building on State Fair Boulevard in the Town of Geddes.

Crews were called in around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Fire officials said the building was used to store supplies for a catering company.

When firefighters arrived, they said there were heavy flames coming out of the single-story structure.

Firefighters did encounter a few explosions from propane tanks but were able to bring the flames under control quickly.

One firefighter was treated for minor injuries.
