Family and friends mourn shooting victim

ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Family and friends in Elmira have created a memorial outside of the Eastgate Apartment complex where a man was shot and killed this week.
Friends have identified the victim as Randy Brooks Junior, 20. Notes, candles, and stuffed animals were placed where police found Brooks' body.
Police received a 911 call around 7:15 a.m. Thursday with reports of an unresponsive man. Upon arrival, authorities determined the man died from a gunshot wound.
While friends say Brooks was the victim, police have yet to confirm his identity.
