PREBLE, N.Y. -- Emergency crews rescued a man who became trapped underneath a farm tractor in Preble Monday.
The man had been hauling logs on a tractor just before 5 p.m. when it flipped over on his chest. It took crews several minutes to be able to move the equipment off the man's chest.
"Preble Fire Department was assisted by Tully and Homer Fire Departments. I also had a large heavy wrecker here that lifted the tractor off of the gentleman and then he was airlifted up to Upstate," said Deputy Fire Coordinator Dave Denniston.
Police are not releasing the man's name or condition at this time.
