LIVERPOOL, N.Y. - It will be a battle between the best of the best in CNY baseball in the finals of the Babe Ruth Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament. The Onondaga West and East teams advanced to the tournament finals on Sunday.
The West team made it with an 8-1 win over Northern New Jersey. They take on the East team, which advanced out of the losers' bracket with wins over Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey. The West team needs only one victory to take the tournament, while the East team must win two games. The two teams met in the first round of the tournament, with the West winning 9-2.
