SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a possible abduction attempt. It happened at Washington Square Park around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday. Police said two girls, 13 and 14, were approached by two men who started talking with them.

The men unsuccessfully tried to force the girls into a van. The suspects are both described as men in their twenties with brown hair, and the van is described as a rusty, while older model cargo van with double doors in the rear.
