CLAYTON, N.Y. -- Thousands are expected to visit Clayton this weekend for the annual Decoy and Wildlife Art Show at the Village Recreation Park Arena. The show kicked off on Friday morning and goes through Saturday night.
There are all sorts of duck decoys, contests, paintings, and more. There is also a historic collection from famous decoy creator, Ken Harris, who is a Jefferson County native. Organizers of the event said it just continues to get bigger and better each year.
"We've got a lot of people that come through every year. We're seeing an awful lot of new faces this year. That's always nice to see new faces. We've got new exhibitors from different areas coming in. That's nice because when you come through, there's always a different group of people," explained Tom Humberstone, Clayton Decoy and Wildlife Co-Chair.
One of the show's most popular events is the Friday afternoon auction. People are able to bid on a variety of decoys and art.
