OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Oswego Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a local woman.

Jessica Elmer, 21, who is mentally handicapped, was last seen on Tuesday walking on East Utica Street Oswego. She was wearing an Orange SU shirt at the time. Police believe she may be attempting to reach the Syracuse area.

Anyone having seen Elmer or knowing of her whereabouts is asked to contact police. The number for the missing persons unit is (315) 342-8120.
