BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. -- A Bradford County man has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Stephen Shave, 40, of Sayre was originally charged with murder for the shooting death of his wife, Tara Shave, 41.

But the District Attorney says the court ruled that he acted with gross negligence by pointing the gun at his wife without checking to see if it was loaded.

Shave is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
