ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Thousands of dog lovers filled Longbranch Park on Saturday for the third annual Canine Carnival.

The event featured more than 50 dog friendly vendors, animal rescues, music and food. In addition to all the fun, more than a hundred dogs were adopted as well.

The event is organized by the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation and money raised at the event is given to animal rescues throughout Central New York.
