SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Culture was celebrated at the St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church.

The church played host to the 10th annual Macedonian Festival, featuring music and dancing as well as a pig roast and other traditional foods.

Those we spoke to say the many different cultural festivals make Syracuse a great place to live.

"It's our chance to present our culture now so it's very important for the education and for the culture of the society," said Father Branko Postolovski, St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church.

The festival continues until 7 p.m. Sunday.
