Man shot in the foot in Syracuse
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating a late night shooting in the city that left one person injured. It happened on the 500 block of Bellevue Avenue around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say Laquan Kitchen, 19, of Liverpool was walking when he heard gunshots. Kitchen told police he began to run from the area, but was shot in the foot. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police are now looking for a suspect.
