NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- Senator Charles Schumer stopped by the fair on Saturday.

Schumer says he loves getting out to the fair to meet people young and old. He enjoys everything it has to offer even checking in on all the different kinds of animals. He even recapped meeting Norman the pig, one of the world’s largest pigs, here who passed away a few years ago.

And the New York State Fair is certainly number one in his book.

"Well I love the state fair, I come every year. They say it's one of the three best state fairs in the country. Iowa, Minnesota, New York. We know ours is the best. I had a vote of the audience. New York won unanimously,” Schumer said.
