NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- As many of you know, the first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, passed away Saturday at the age of 82.

We caught up with an exhibitor at the Harmonograph educational science exhibit who spoke about Armstrong.

The organization is showing rare NASA Space Shuttle artifacts, including the Space Shuttle Thermal protection tile which was presented to Solvay Elementary School.

Armstrong’s legacy is one that affected the lives of many.

"Not only did he go to the moon, but he conducted his life with a great deal of dignity. He could have had human fumbles, but he seemed to carry what he did with a great deal of dignity," said Kit Deucey.
