OSWEGO COUNTY -- A young woman is killed and five others are injured in a two-car crash in Oswego County.

It happened on County Route 22 in Sandy Creek around 4:30 pm on Monday. State Police said Justina Denny, 23, of Richland was in the northbound lane when she lost control of her car on wet pavement and crossed into the opposite lane.

Her car then collided head-on with another vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Three children in her car were taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two adults were also taken to Upstate for non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
