NIAGARA FALL, N.Y. -- Two teenagers are scheduled to be arraigned in Western New York in connection with the death of a five-year-old girl in Niagara Falls.
Isabella Sarah Tennant was found dead inside a dumpster after she was reported missing Monday morning.
John Freeman, 16, is charged with second degree murder while Tyler Best, 16, was charged with tampering with evidence.
Police said Isabella was at her great grandmother's house Sunday night playing with Freeman, a family friend. Police said Best came to the police station around 9:00 am on Monday and told detectives he had information about Isabella.
Officers said that information led them to her body inside a plastic garbage bag in a dumpster. Police believe Freeman killed Isabella with his bare hands and then he and Best put her body in the trash bin.
Police said there were signs of trauma but no weapons were involved in her death. An autopsy is expected Tuesday.
