NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- A big draw for most fairgoers are all of the food options. This year, a fair favorite returned, and you can see people walking around with the famous roasted corn. Shukkers is back this year, and is more popular than ever among fairgoers. Last year they were one of 50 applicants that were declined a booth due to lack of space.
Prior to that, Shukkers held a booth for 16 straight years. The booth has been moved from it's old location near Gianelli, and can now be found near the Wool Center. Needless to say, they have received a warm welcome back.
"Coming back this year is fantastic, it feels so good to be back. The customers are so supportive, they're searching the fair for us, and when they come to the stand, they're so grateful that they found us, and we're grateful to have them. Its just a fantastic thing," said Mike Bambrick, Shukkers Operator.
