BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The Binghamton Senator are beginning a 40 day celebration as the team marks its 40th anniversary in Broome County.

On each of the days leading up the October 30th home opener, one lucky season ticket holder will receive a prize, like jerseys, gift cards and other merchandise.

B-Sens officials say they are grateful for the fan support and look forward to keeping the team in the AHL for another 40 years.

"We are truly blessed, I think, to have a franchise in this community and a solid franchise. We are a solid part of the American Hockey League and expect to be for many years to come," said Tom Mitchell, Executive Vice President of Operations.

On Tuesday, the team also revealed a 40 year anniversary logo. They will be wearing the special jerseys during the January 4th match versus Wilkes-Barre.
