BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The man arrested in connection with a homicide in Binghamton last Saturday has waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
Robert Camber Jr., 33, has been accused of shooting and killing a 26-year-old man. Officials say it happened just after 2 a.m. near the Rock-B Tavern on Conklin Avenue last Saturday. They say when they arrived, the man was lying in the road with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Wilson Hospital, where he later died.
