HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A well-known Utica attorney has been killed in a crash near Old Forge. Authorities say William Calli Sr., 88, was driving his SUV on Route 28 in the Town of Webb Monday afternoon when he lost control and crashed into a pickup truck.

He was taken a hospital in Syracuse, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the pick-up was treated at a Utica hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
