Two arrested on child endangerment charges
BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two people in Broome County have been arrested for endangering the welfare of a child. Sheriff's deputies say they responded to a home on Johnson Road in the Town of Kirkwood at the request of Child Protective Services.
They found a 3-year-old and an infant in the presence of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Derek Greene, 19, and Danielle Starks, 21, were arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a hypodermic instrument.
