CICERO, N.Y. -- Officials arrested an Onondaga County man after finding a large-scale marijuana growing operation at his home.
Sheriff's deputies say they found more than 160 marijuana plants at the home of Scott Burger, 37, on Steven Drive in Cicero. They also found an irrigation system that ran from his house to a wooded area where there were another 32 plants.
Detectives say in addition to those plants, Burger is also accused of growing 34 plants just off the shoreline of Seneca River near Caughdenoy Road.
Burger is charged with a number of federal drug charges. He is being held without bail at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
