WESTERN NEW YORK -- A Central New York man has been ticketed after hitting the bucket of a utility truck in Western New York, sending two town of Amherst highway workers to the hospital.
Police say Scott Charleson and Paul Mordaunt were replacing a banner over a street Monday morning when a semi truck being driven by a 35-year-old Syracuse man clipped the bucket.
The 30-foot fall sent both men to the hospital with multiple injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was ticketed for driving an oversized vehicle.
